Connors Wins First Career CACC Field Athlete of the Week Award

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Koy Connors of USciences track and field won his first career Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Field Athlete of the Week award on Monday. 

He is the first Devil to earn a CACC weekly honor this season.

Connors became the first Devil to ever compete in the decathlon over the weekend, placing third out of 10 with a collegiate-best 5,077 points at Stockton's Osprey Invitational.

The junior set collegiate-bests in four events (shot put, high jump, 400m and discus) and placed in the top-half of the field in eight events, including winning the discus (29.59m) and pole vault (3.55m).

University of the Sciences' final meet as an entire squad comes this weekend, April 19-20, at Moravian's Greyhound Invitational.
