PHILADELPHIA – The University of the Sciences men's cross country team prepped one final time for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship on Saturday, as it competed at the Jack St. Clair Memorial hosted at Belmont Plateau, site of this year's CACC Championship.
USciences placed seventh amongst the seven collegiate teams competing.
Johnathan Epstein led the Devils for the fourth race in a row, posting a time of 29:04.0 on the 8K course to place in the top-fourth of the field of 119 - which included open entries - in 27th.
Running his fourth consecutive collegiate personal record, 29:38.4, was William Hallinan, who placed in the top-third of the field in 37th.
Freshman Isaac Hoskins was in the top-half of field, as his time of 30:40.9 was good for 57th.
Three spots behind him and one position outside of the top-half of the field was fellow freshman Dylan Zuch, who crossed in 31:06.3.
University of the Sciences now takes next weekend off, with the 2018 CACC Championship taking place on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m.
