Driscoll named Philadelphia Inquirer Men’s At-Large Academic All-Area Performer of the Year
PHILADELPHIA – University of the Sciences sophomore Brad Driscoll was named the 2010-2011 Philadelphia Inquirer Men’s At-Large Academic All-Area Performer of the Year, highlighting a group of 12 individuals honored by the Sports Information offices of the 28 member schools.

(March 15, 2010) - University of the Sciences in Philadelphia sophomore Brad Driscoll (Alvirne HS/Hudson, N.H.) have earned All-Conference honors for the Mid Atlantic Rifle Conference (MAC) for his performance during the 2010-2011 season. Driscoll was a first team selection in smallbore and a second team honoree in air rifle.

Rifle Team Earns Split in Week Two of Sectionals
The mixed rifle team came away with a split in their matches last weekend at the NRA Philadelphia Area Sectionals which took place at the Colonel William Shea Rifle Range on the USciences campus. The Devils defeated Princeton University and Loyola College (Maryland) while losing to Penn State University and John Jay College.

The University of the Sciences mixed rifle team competed over the weekend in the NRA Philadelphia Area Sectional competition and came away with two wins against their three opponents. Competition was held at the Colonel William Shea rifle Range on campus.

Navy Scores Win over Devils
The University of the Sciences mixed rifle team returned to action for their first match of the spring semester, hosting the United State Naval Academy Friday at the colonel William Shea rifle range on campus. The Midshipman sailed into town and came away with a 4629-4208 victory.

Mixed Rifle Team Splits Season Opening Match
The University of the Sciences Mixed Rifle Team opened their 2010-11 season in Lexington, Virginia on Saturday, taking on teams from The Citadel and host Virginia Military Institute and coming away with a split against the four teams.
