USciences Softball Looks For Offense Against WilmU

Philadelphia, Pa. - The University of the Sciences fell in their final home series, hosting CACC foe WilmU in a doubleheader from McNeil Field. The Wildcats took game one by a final score of 8-0, before leaving with a 7-0 victory in game two. The Devils tallied 11 hits on the afternoon, six coming in game one, as the only extra-base hit came on a Lauren Davis double. Ashley Lewis collected two hits in game one, while Brooke Chisholm went 2 for 3 in the second game.

From The Mound

  • Kyla Colburn threw a majority of game one, allowing 13 hits and striking out two Wildcats.
  • Kaitlyn Gaynor got the final out of the first game, while throwing all seven innings of game two. Gaynor surrendered 12 hits and struck out three in the second game.
