USciences Tied for Third Nationally with 98% ASR The NCAA today released its 2011 Division II Academic Success Rate (ASR) and federal graduation rate data for all of its Division II institutions. The Devils athletic programs recorded an overall academic success rate of 98%. This rate ties the Devils for the third highest rate amongst all NCAA Division II schools in the nation with only William Jewell College (100) and Saint Michael’s College (99) recording a higher rate. University of the Sciences Student-Athletes Earn Academic Achievement Awards Cleveland, Ohio (August 10, 2011) – The Division II Athletics Directors Association (DII ADA) announced the 2010-11 recipients of the DII ADA Academic Achievement Awards. The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level. Thirty-three student-athletes from the University of the Sciences were amongst the 3,676 athletes recognized from 98 Division II institutions by the NCAA Division II Athletic Directors Association (DII ADA). Sixteen USciences Student-Athletes Named to CACC Spring All-Academic Team New Haven, Conn.(June 14, 2011) –Sixteen student-athletes from the University of the Sciences were named to the 2011 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Spring All-Academic Team which was announced today by the conference office. The 16 athletes from the institution were among the 100 total student-athletes from the 14 conference schools earning a place on the list. Summers Named to CACC All-Conference Softball Team New Haven, Conn. (May, 3, 2011)– University of the Sciences sophomore Erin Summers was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Conference Women's Softball Team as a Second Team selections as announced today by the conference office. University of the Sciences Student-Athlete Spotlight- Melissa Rotz

Women’s Basketball player Melissa Rotz will have the distinction of graduating from University of the Sciences with the most individual academic honors ever won by a student-athlete at the institution, earning a dozen such awards over her four year career while performing as the women’s basketball team’s starting point guard.
