Rotz Named Philadelphia Inquirer Area All-Academic Women’s Basketball Co-Performer of the Year
Philadelphia, Pa. –University of the Sciences senior Melissa Rotz has been named the 2010-11 Philadelphia Inquirer Area All Academic Women’s Basketball Co-Performer of the Year along with Swarthmore College senior Kathryn Stockbower. Rotz and Stockbower are two of the five student-athletes selected to this year's Area All-Academic Women’s Basketball Team. The team is voted on by the sports information offices of the 28 area institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Four Basketball Players Named to CACC Winter Academic Team
New Haven, Conn. (3/30/11) – Two members of the University of the Sciences men’s basketball team and two members of the women’s basketball team have been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Winter All-Academic Team as announced by the conference office today.

Devils Remain Seventh in NCAA East Region Poll
The University of the Sciences women's basketball team remained at the number seven spot as they made their third consecutive appearance in this week’s Division II East Region Poll. The Devils had their 14 game winning streak snapped at the hands of the #1 team in the region Holy Family before closing out the regular season with a win at Post University to improve to 21-5 on the season.

Devils Come Up Short in CACC Quarterfinals
Colleen Christian led all scorers with 18 points but the University of the Sciences women’s basketball team fell short in its bid for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament title with a 57-54 loss to Goldey-Beacom College in the CACC quarterfinals at the Bobby Morgan Arena in Philadelphia.
