PHILADELPHIA – The No. 6 University of the Sciences women's basketball team will host the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball East Region Championship from March 15-18 inside of Bobby Morgan Arena at the Athletic Recreation Center. 

This will be the first time in USciences history that the University has hosted an NCAA Regional. 

The top-seeded Devils open play on their home court in the First Round this Friday, March 15 at 5 p.m. against eighth-seeded NYIT. 

Should University of the Sciences win, it will advance to a Second Round game on Saturday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. 

The East Region Final is scheduled for Monday, March 18 at 7 p.m. 

Daily ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors/students (with ID), while an All-Tournament Pass is available for $25/$13 (children 3 and under are free). 

The first 100 USciences students to enter will receive free admission to the game on Friday. Should USciences advance in the tournament, the Athletics Department will give free admission to the first 100 students to attend the game on Saturday and all students on Monday.

USciences has won an NCAA Tournament game in each of the last two seasons. The Devils won their first-ever NCAA Tournament game two years ago, before winning two more Tournament games last year to advance to the program's first-ever East Region Final and Sweet 16. 

Eight teams from three conferences - the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), the Northeast 10 (NE10) and the East Coast Conference (ECC) – qualify for the East Region Championship and will be traveling to Philadelphia to participate.

Game 3 (5:00 p.m.): No. 1 (#6) USciences (29-2, CACC at-large) vs. No. 8 NYIT (23-8, ECC Tournament champion)
