Devils Win Ugly over Griffins Tuesday night’s women’s basketball game at the Bobby Morgan Arena was unlike any game that had been played in the previous eight-plus seasons at the gym, especially the first half. On this night the University of the Sciences and Chestnut Hill College battled in mediocrity for much of the 40 minutes with the Devils pulling away with a 47-44 win once the final buzzer sounded. Traub Nets CACC Rookie of the Week Honors for Seventh Time Since December 12th of last year, University of the Sciences women’s basketball player Brianne Traub has held a near monopoly on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week award, earning the honor five of the six times it has given out.
