New London, CT - The University of the Sciences rifle team hit the road to compete in their third consecutive MAC Championship at the United States Coast Guard Academy over the weekend. Freshman, Sarah Schnupp continues to be locked in and bringing back individual gold for the Devils at small bore with a score of 564. Schnupp was the only Devil to finish in the top 10 of the small portion of the competition while leading USciences with a score of 571 in the Air Rifle competition for a second place finish overall. However, despite the great performances from UScience Women's teams, the Devils would fall to John Jay 2186-2084.
Rachel Hubal closed out her year on the range for USciences with a 16th place finish, tallying a final score of 514. Minhee Kang and Allie Tuman finished back-to-back with final scores of 506 and 500 on the afternoon. Lauren Stabler rounded out the USciences shooters with a respectable 488 in the Smallbore competition.
