Personal: Oldest of three children of Joseph and Carolyn Houghton…has two cousins who were standout athletes at the University of the Sciences – Gene Willard ranks seventh on the Devils all-time men’s basketball scoring list with 1,667 points and earned All-CACC honors in each of his four years…cousin Matt Willard was a two-time All-CACC cross country runner and has recorded three of the top five men’s 8,000-meter times in school history…Decided to attend USciences for their doctorate entry level occupational therapy program. “I was given the opportunity to live my dream running competitively and to continue to work hard and improve each year. Most importantly I value being part of a team.”…after graduation plans to find a job working in a hospital in both geriatrics and pediatrics.
