New Haven, Conn (November 10, 2010) – University of the Sciences women’s volleyball player Christine Puschak (Conestoga Valley High School/Leola, Pa.) was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference All-Conference Volleyball Team today as an honorable mention selection. The leagues 14 coaches voted on the CACC All-Conference Team.

Puschak Nets 1,000th Career Kill as Devils Sweep Eagles
Christine Puschak became the fourth volleyball player in program history to record 1,000 career kills and Cady Rich became the Devils all-time block assist leader as the University of the Sciences women’s volleyball closed out their season with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 29-27) sweep of Post University at the Bobby Morgan Arena Saturday afternoon.

The University of the Sciences women’s volleyball started Wednesday night’s match at the Bobby Morgan Arena against four-time defending CACC champion Georgian Court University with a decisive 25-12 win in the opening set. The Lions however battled back to win the next three (25-22, 25-16, 28-26) to take the match 3-1 and complete the season sweep against the Devils.
