Women's Cross Country Team Named Division II All-Academic Team by USTFCCCA
New Orleans, La. (2/16/12)- The University of the Sciences women's cross country team has been selected by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as All-Academic Teams for the 2011 cross country season.

Seven USciences Student-Athletes Named To the CACC Fall Academic Team
New Haven, Conn. (January 18, 2012) – Seven University of the Sciences in Philadelphia student-athletes were named to the 2011 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Fall All-Academic Team as announced by the conference office.

USciences Tied for Third Nationally with 98% ASR
The NCAA today released its 2011 Division II Academic Success Rate (ASR) and federal graduation rate data for all of its Division II institutions. The Devils athletic programs recorded an overall academic success rate of 98%. This rate ties the Devils for the third highest rate amongst all NCAA Division II schools in the nation with only William Jewell College (100) and Saint Michael’s College (99) recording a higher rate.

Jordan Lyons and Kim Brown ran their fastest 5,000-meter race of their careers as the University of the Sciences women’s cross country team fought their way to a sixth place finish at this year’s Central Atlantic collegiate conference (CACC) Championship meet.

Junior Jordan Lyons ran her best 6,000-meter time of the season as she led the University of the Sciences women’s cross country team to a 32nd place finish at Friday’s Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The University of the Sciences women’s cross country team returned to action after a one week layoff, running to a sixth place finish at the Philadelphia Metro Cross Country Mett at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia.
