  • Finished 133rd at the NCAA East Regionals with a time of 27:38.0 (11/4)
  • Finished in the top-23 at the CACC Championships in each of her three appearances, as her 20th place finish at 2017 Championships was just one position behind her career-best finish of 19th as a freshman in 2015. She navigated the 5k course in a season-best time of 21:09.3 (10/22)
  • Narrowly missed out on a top-10 finish at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial Championship by one position in the field of 76 collegiate competitors as she crossed in 26:53.5 (10/7)
  • Crossed in 24:44 for the 22nd fastest 6k in program history at the Paul Short Invitational (9/29)
  • Earned a place on the 9/25 CACC Honor Roll
  • Recorded her best finish of the season by placing third in field of 65 at the Goldey-Beacom Fall Classic, navigating the 5k course in 21:49.0 for her fastest time of the year (9/22)
  • Finished in the top-fourth of the field of 80 at Philadelphia Metro Cross Country Championships, placing 16th with a nearly identical time as the weekend before - 21:53.3 (9/9)
  • Fourth place finish at season-opening Wilmington Univeristy Cross Country Invitational, as she finished 12 seconds shy of her personal record from 2015 in 21:53.40 (9/2)

Prior to USciences: 

  • Three sport athlete at Ridge High School, competing all four years in cross country, indoor and outdoor track
  • Ran a PR in her final high school race in 2015, running a 2:23 split in the 4 x 800 meter relay race
  • Cross Country Team finished fourth at the N.J. Meet of Champions in 2014
  • Most Improved uUpperclassman Award and Most Improved Freshman Award winner for cross country
  • Won back-to-back North II Group 4 Indoor Track & Field team championships in 2014 and 2015
  • Finished third in sectionals in the 1600m as both a junior and a senior... Also placed third in the county 1600m as a junior

  • Oldest of four children of Derek and Jennifer Asay
  • Chose USciences because she wanted to study pharmacy in a direct-admit program and manage to run at the same time
