University of the Sciences One of 32 Division II Schools to Earn Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence

NCAA Release

University of the Sciences was one of the thirty-two Division II member schools to have been named recipients of the Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence, presented to member schools earning an Academic Success Rate (ASR) of 90% or higher.

USciences has now received the award in each of its nine years of existence.

The ASR is the percentage of student-athletes who graduate within six years of initial collegiate enrollment and includes virtually all Division II student-athletes.

Unlike the federal rate, the Division II ASR includes nearly 34,000 non-scholarship student-athletes and accounts for those who transfer to a Division II school after initial enrollment elsewhere, while removing student-athletes who leave school while academically eligible.

Previously, it was announced that USciences was in the top-10 of Division II's ASR for the 13th year in a row.
