Grillo Leads Men’s Cross Country to Top-Half of the Field Finish at Jack Saint Clair Memorial

PHILADELPHIA –Will Grillo placed in the top-fourth of the field of 160 at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial, helping the University of the Sciences men's cross country team to a seventh place finish in the 17-team field at Belmont Plateau on Saturday afternoon. 

Running just his second collegiate race, the freshman bettered the time from his collegiate debut by over a minute to clock in at 30:09.6 on the 8K course for a 34th place finish. 

Sophomore Dylan Zuch was the second Devil to cross, coming in at 31:20.3 to finish 57th overall. 

Sophomore Isaac Hoskins (32:11.2) and freshman Christopher Kelly (32:20.4) also ran new season-bests to place in the top-half of the field. 

Lucas Burkhardt made his collegiate debut, finishing with a time of 33:38.6. 

As a team, USciences accumulated 288 points to finish ahead of Central Atlantic Collegaite Conference (CACC) foes Felician and Caldwell. 

The Devils are back in action next Saturday, Oct. 19 at Rowan's Inter-Regional Border Battle, hosted at Gloucester County Dream Park in Logan Township, N.J.
