  • Completed the 6K course in 25:33.7 at the Jack St. Clair Memorial to place 20th in the field of 93, which included open entries. She was the 14th collegiate runner to cross, as well as the fourth amongst the three CACC teams racing (10/13)
  • Finished in the top fifth of the deep field of 355 at the Paul Short Run, placing 66th with a time of 25:00. Already holding three of the top 12 6K times in program history, the junior narrowly missed out on cracking the top 25 once again by just 10 seconds (9/29)
  • Placed fifth in a deep field of 112 at the Philadelphia Metro Championship. She completed the 5K in 21:07.8 to finish just over 15 seconds behind the winner, and less than two seconds behind fourth place (9/8)
  • Repeated as champion, defending her Wilmington Invitational title by over 12 seconds as USciences opened its 2018 season. The junior earned her third career title in the field of 42 by navigating the 5k course in 20:33.53 (9/1)

  • 64th place finish in the field of 173 at the NCAA East Regionals was the best in the program since Brianna Ligotski placed 62nd at the 2014 Regionals. It was also an 18-place improvement from her 82nd place finish as a freshman a year ago. It was the sixth time in her six races this season that Sauers led USciences, as she navigated the muddy 6k course in 25:17.0 (11/4)
  • Earned All-CACC recognition for the second straight year after placing third at the CACC Championships. A year after placing 15th, Sauers' third place finish was the best within the program since Brianna Ligotski won the individual title in 2013. Aside from Ligotski, it was the best finish by a Devil since Joy Aifuwa placed second in 2007. She finished just 1.4 second behind the second place finisher with a collegiate personal record of 19:56.4, which was the fastest in the program since Ligotski's winning time in 2013 and the 13th-fastest in program history (10/22)..
  • Was the first collegiate competitor at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial Championship. Edged out second place finisher by 3.3 seconds with a time of 25:14.4 on the 6k course. The time was the fourth-fastest 6k at Belmont Plateau since USciences began running the 6k at the course in 2013 (10/7)
  • Ran the fourth fastest 6k in program history at the Paul Short Invitational as her time of 23:35 was a new collegiate personal record and was the fastest in the program since Brianna Ligotoski set the school record in 2013 (9/29)
  • Narrowly missed out on her second consecutive individual title to begin the season at the Philadelphia Metro Cross Country Championships, crossing third with a time of 20:43.5, which moved her into 24th in program history for all-time fastest 5k times posted at Belmont Plateau (9/9)
  • Captured the title at the season-opening Wilmington University Cross Country Invitational, topping the field of 34 by nearly 27 seconds as she completed the 5k course in 20:36.95 - less than two seconds shy of her personal record (9/2)
